Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
Lettuce is one of the fastest-growing indoor crops and it's a staple. Different types of plants take different amounts of time to germinate and grow. In general, we’ve found these germination timeframes to be consistent:
- Flowers take about 7-12 days
- Salads: 5-8 days
- Herbs: 5-15 days
- Fruiting vegetables (such as tomatoes and peppers): 7-14 days
If any of your seed pods don’t germinate after 21 days, contact us so we can send out a replacement for you under our 100% germination guarantee.
After each planting, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing your AeroGarden for the best results.

Great addition to the options!
First, I am thrilled these are available. I bring salad to work most days and adding these really makes the salad that much better. The grow time they state is accurate.
I only gave four stars for the following: recommended to change the water weekly if not more, but it makes a mess, wish there was a better way. And, they grow a ton of greens, some tall some short in same mix. Makes it hard to cut correctly and thereby some end up “fuzzy” due to not being cultivated timely. Maybe it’s something I did wrong for these issues. Plan

Recipe for the superfood microgreens
I love these microgreens in omelets and salads but I found my favorite way to eat them is in mashed potatoes. I live alone and I normally would make my own mashed potatoes but now I am using Idahoan Buttery Homestyle mashed potatoes in 4oz bags. I put one cup of water in my food processor and add 1/2 C of the microgreens and pulse 8 times or until the microgreens are chopped up. Meanwhile I have one cup of water set to boil on the stove. When the stove water is boiling I add the microgreen water and let it come to a full boil. Remove from heat and stir in the potatoes all at once.
Stirring with a fork to moisten. Let sit for one minute then fluff with a fork and serve. So easy and so good! I do add a litter butter to my serving.

Yummy addition to anything
Amazed at how quickly they grow and grow back. They are a yummy addition to salads, tacos, anywhere I use greens. Pleasantly surprised at how much we like them. Actually bought a second Aerogarden to do herbs so I can keep the microgreens coming.

Nice addition.
I’ve been growing my first micro greens for 45 days now and think we’ve been eating on them for 40. They’ve grown really well and are of course tasty. I’m enjoying this new add to my aerogarden.
